As part of our Diversity and Inclusion strategy, we have implemented variety of initiatives and networks for staff. This includes the Commission’s Indigenous Staff Network (ISN).
The ISN is supported by an Executive Champion and provides a culturally safe space to connect with other Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander staff.
The Network regularly meets and role is to:
- provide guidance and support to Network members and Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander staff
- promote the skills and experiences of Network members and Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander staff
- facilitate, in partnership with the Commission, activities to broaden the knowledge, understanding and engagement of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples, cultures and histories including cultural events
- co-ordinate and promote informal and/or social gatherings.
Reconciliation Action Plan
