This session builds on the ‘strengthened Quality Standards (SQS) in practice’ sessions. This live learning session explores a case study and highlights the connections between individual Standards, while focusing particularly on several Outcomes and Actions from Standard 2: The organisation, Standard 3: Care and services and Standard 5: Clinical care.
The session considers a series of issues arising for an individual on their return from hospital. It is designed to help you consider the application of the Standards to real-world situations and reaffirms the process of self-assessment in readiness for July 1.
As this is an introductory session, and is based on the draft legislation, the session does not include information on provider categories, evidence required to support conformance, or the audit process. Future sessions and resources are being developed by the Commission on these topics.
