Agreement to the Commission website’s general terms of use
The Commission website’s terms of use also apply to those who choose to access the Quality Standards Resource Centre (‘Users’). Users of the Quality Standards Resource Centre agree to these terms of use. These terms of use are available at www.agedcarequality.gov.au/terms-use.
The Quality Standards Resource Centre
The Quality Standards Resource Centre contains information which are external to the Commission, including documents, photographs, video or audio material (collectively ‘Materials’). The Materials, presented within the Quality Standards Resource Centre is made available to Users for informative purposes only, with the aim of building sector capacity and improving performance.
The Quality Standards Resource Centre has categorised the Materials based on the Aged Care Standards that come into effect from 1 November 2025, as part of the new Aged Care Standards under the Aged Care Act (and its subordinate legislation). Do not rely on this material for guidance on the Aged Care Quality Standards that are in effect prior to 1 November 2025 (outlined in Schedule 1 of the Quality of Care Principles 2014).
The Materials presented within the Quality Standards Resource Centre are selected by the Standard Resource Oversight Committee (consisting of internal and external stakeholders). This material is selected on the basis of the Oversight Committee’s established principles for inclusion and in the Committee’s own sole discretion. The Commission periodically adds, changes, improves or updates the Materials on this website without notice. The Commission reserves the right at any time to change or discontinue any aspect or feature of the Quality Standards Resource Centre.

The linked websites are not under the control of the Commission, and the Commission is not responsible for the validity or accuracy of content posted on any linked website or any link contained in a linked website, including their privacy and copyright practices. Although the Commission and Oversight Committee has taken the utmost care to ensure that Users are provided with all relevant information on the Materials made available on Quality Standards Resource Centre, the Commission is not responsible for any incorrect categorisation of any of the Materials nor should it be deemed to officially endorse any particular opinion in relation to them, as outlined in the Materials.
Users are responsible for verifying all material on the Quality Standard Resources Centre and the Commission shall not be responsible for any errors or omissions and shall not be liable for any incidental, special or consequential damages including damages for loss of business or other profits arising in relation to use of the material. The Commission shall not be liable for injury, loss or damage incurred by reliance on material on this site or incorporated by reference.
The Commission does not endorse any Material presented within the Quality Standards Resource Centre.
Amendments to the Quality Standards Resource Library
The Commission reserves its exclusive right in its sole discretion to alter, limit or discontinue the Quality Standards Resource Centre or any links to Materials include in any respect. The Commission shall have no obligation to take the needs of any User into consideration in connection therewith.

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the Australian Capital Territory, Australia.
If any of these Terms of Use are held to be invalid, unenforceable or unlawful for any reason, the remaining Terms of Use are intended to continue in force.
These Terms of Use do not negate any Terms or Conditions that apply to your use of any other government website or the Commission’s website’s terms of use.
