Serious risk decision
On 22 January 2018 a delegate of the CEO of the Australian Aged Care Quality Agency made a decision that Trustees of the Christian Brothers failed to meet one or more expected outcomes in the Accreditation Standards in relation to Charingfield and that this failure has placed, or may place, the safety, health or wellbeing of a care recipient of the service at serious risk.
The Department of Health has been notified of the risk.
The Quality Agency will continue to monitor the performance of the service including through unannounced visits.
