Compliance update

Following an assessment contact conducted on 10 February 2020, the Commission made a decision that improvements have been made to the service to ensure that the Aged Care Quality Standards are complied with.

Serious risk decision

Following an assessment contact conducted on 31 October to 1 November 2019, a delegate of the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commissioner made a finding that Regis Aged Care Pty Ltd failed to meet one Aged Care Quality Standards (Quality Standards) in relation to Regis Nedlands.

On 27 November 2019 a decision was made that failure to meet one Quality Standard has placed the safety, health or well-being of aged care consumers of the service at serious risk. The Department of Health has been notified of the risk.

Serious risk is not an ongoing state; it is a statutory decision based on evidence at a point in time.

The Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission will continue to monitor the performance of the service including through unannounced visits.

Following an assessment contact conducted on 31 October 2019, the Commission made a decision that the approved provider of the service is non-compliant with 1 requirements of the Aged Care Quality Standards.

Following an audit we decided that this home met 44 of the 44 expected outcomes of the Accreditation Standards and would be accredited for three years until 14 June 2021.
